We pride ourselves on our knowledge and experience in the field, with fully trained professional and experienced consultants, climbers, and ground staff, we ensure your trees are cared for and maintained with minimal disruption to you, your trees and their surroundings. Wassells Aboricultural Services are based in North London and undertake work throughout greater London and the home counties of Essex, Herts and Bucks mainly. Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) make it an offence to remove, prune, or damage protected trees even if they are on private land. We can seek permission on your behalf to obtain consent to carry out work on protected trees.
Tree work in Conservation areas
Even if a tree is not protected by a TPO it may be in a conservation area which also provides the same protection for trees. We can seek permission on your behalf to obtain consent to carry out work on trees within Conservation Areas.
Obtaining Planning Permission
For certain projects we would seek planning permission on your behalf in order to carry out the work you require. This again is included as part of our standard practice.
Complying with British Standard 3998
All of our team are trained to industry standards and work to guidelines set out in British Standard 3998:1989 - Recommendations for Tree Work.
Suspension of Parking Bays where necessary
In order to carry out our work effectively and with minimum disruption, we can arrange for a suspension of parking bays to allow our vehicles to be sited as close to the location of work as possible..
